Granolala Apple Cranberry Crumble

Oh la la! This has quickly become a favorite in our house
A tasty treat for a cooler day
Serve it warm with ice cream or whipped cream

I used Cortland apples as I enjoy the slight tartness they have
You can use any cooking apple that you enjoy
And of course freshly grated lemon zest
Juice squeezed from the same lemon

Granolala Apple Cranberry Crumble
8 medium apples, peeled & sliced
1/4 cup lemon juice
Grated zest of 1 lemon
2 1/2 cups Cranberry Granolala
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
Oven 400F

In a large bowl, combine the apples, lemon juice and zest
Spread evenly into a 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish
Combine sugar & cinnamon and sprinkle over apples
Evenly spread Cranberry Granolala over the apples
Drizzle melted butter on top and cover pan with foil
Bake for 40-45 minutes

Uncover and bake another 10 minutes or until topping is browned

Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving
Enjoy with ice cream or topped with whipped cream
Perhaps a dash of cinnamon for flair
