Merchandising
Our retail program incudes various Signs and Cards. The tent cards can be positioned next to the Granolala products or placed atop some of the packages, where they may be more visible.
We will update the cards and signage from time to time.
These are provided at no cost.
Additional and replacement cards and signs are available upon request.

We suggest the Sample Packet dispenser be placed beside or in-between the Granolala products. The tall pillar sign is installed onto the dispenser first (see photo) with the Sample Packets nicely filling the dispenser as illustrated.
Sample Packets should be label facing out towards the customer and logo end up.
Shelf heights between waist and elbow work well. Product labels are easily readable and the Sample Packets can be noticed and reached.
If you would like an additional Sample Packet Dispenser for your Point of Sale counter, or perhaps additional Granolala signs and display cards, please ask.
If any of our signs, award cards or sample piller become torn or damaged, please ask for replacements.

Pricing
Our suggested retail pricing is $20.00 per Granolala product, for every flavour.
This matches the online pricing found on our web site and reflects typical pricing at our other retail partners.
Shelf location and visibility
Granolala is a shelf stable food product, with preference for pantry dry storage conditions. We recommend Granolala be placed away from direct sunlight, and not in a place which may experience heating or dampness.

QR coded shelf sign
Each retail store selling Granolala is assigned a Store number (Storexxx).
This number is encoded into the QR code shown on the front of the sign.
The store number is also readable on the backside of the sign.
When a customer scans the QR code (or types in the URL on the back side) they will see a special web page we maintain just for Granolala in your specific store.
We will maintain this web page for you and present additional information about Granolala, and about your store. This is a place we can include more product information, beyond what may be found on in-store signage.
Note: When we are onboarding a new store, it may take us a week or so to fully update the store specific web pages. During that time the QR code may link to an example web page.

Store Welcome web page
Separate from the QR linked page above, we may create a separate page in the Stores section of our Granolala.ca website. Each page will include the store address, Google Maps link, store photos, and other helpful content about your store, and Granolala being available in your store.
250g Granolala Original for staff
The 250g Granolala Original pouches* we include for staff to enjoy also provide a basis for speaking with customers from first hand experience. They can experience what it tastes like!
The 250g packaging is lighter quality than the main product. It may tear or crinkle. This does not affect the customer products.
- Dates on Sample Packet Refills and 250g Original pouches are the packaging date, not a Best Before date
- Refill the Sample Dispenser with Sample Packets from the oldest Refill bag first
- Ingredient info for Sample Packets is the same as Granolala Original product

Location, presentation, cleanliness
Granolala is a premium product. Customers expect Granolala to be kept in a clean and tidy area, easily found within the store. Products should be neatly positioned, perhaps angled slightly to show the flavour portion of the front labels.
Handle/lift Granolala packages using the top flap. If the bag is squeezed in on the sides, hold the bag flat and pull the side seams outwards while gengtly shaking the package. The contents should flow within the pouch to make the front look flatter and the sides fairly straight.
Stand each Granolala bag up on the shelf with the sides even and the front label looking slightly rounded.
Tilt/fold the package top flap rearwards slightly. Looks better that way.
- Hold each Granolala bag flat and tug the middle sides outwards while gently shaking. This should unwrinkle the package and flatten the front label.
- Tip: For the berry flavours, sometimes the dried fruit will settle inside and perhaps be less visible. Hold the sealed bag flat with the top slightly higher, and gently swirl the Granolala inside the package.
With a few seconds of swirling motion the fruit inside should surface.
Every Granolala Cranberry and Blueberry has plenty of fruit, so let it show!
We suggest checking Granolala product shelf appearance when it is being restocked, tidied, and whenever you notice some of the fruit is less visible than it should be.

Stocking and Restocking
FIFO, Best Before date codes (YYMMDD)
Granolala will arrive at the store with a Best Before date typically about six months in the future from the time it was freshly made and packaged. When properly stored and displayed, the heat sealed high quality mylar pouches will maintain freshness for quite a long time.
Check the date codes on each product's back label and ensure the closest dates are positioned to sell first.
Dates are coded as Year Month Day
If you discover Granolala product inventory that is within a couple of months of the Best Before date, please let us know. We will work with you to ensure our customer's confidence in the quality of Granolala.
We have found that Granolala kept in customer's homes tends to last well beyond the printed Best Before date. In some cases customers have reported year old Granolala that tastes just as good as newly purchased!
Essentially, our Granolala does not 'go bad' just because the Best Before date is imminent.
We do recommend that customers purchase, consume and enjoy our Granolala in a timely manner. Then buy again!
Reordering
We will do our best to stay in touch and drop in to your store whenever possible. Please maintain a watch on your Granolala inventory and let us know when you would like to order more.
You may order Granolala product in any combination of flavours. We do allow fractional case orders if we can deliver without shipping.
For shipped orders, our standard case order size is twelve Granolala product.
If you need additional or replacement merchandising materials, Sample Packets, or perhaps 250g size for new staff, just include those requests with your order.
We are currently using email for store ordering.

Granolala Storage
When your Granolala shipment arrives, please ensure it is kept clean and away from dampness, heat, direct sunlight.
Full cartons will be labeled with the Granolala logo.
Standard cases of Granolala should have a Master case label indicating the flavour(s) inside.
Inspect for carton or product damage. If problems are found, please contact us right away. When first opened after delivery, confirm the product inside is correct flavours and the date codes are as expected.
